An Unforgettable Opening Night – "La Esencia de la Percepción"
The opening of "La Esencia de la Percepción" at Casa de las Tejerinas in Estepona was an evening I will never forget. This exhibition is not only a deeply personal artistic journey but also marks a special milestone—my first solo exhibition of 2025.
From the very beginning of the evening, the atmosphere was filled with excitement, curiosity, and meaningful conversations. Seeing so many incredible guests come together to engage with my work, discuss the themes of perception and introspection, and share their own interpretations was truly inspiring.
A Night of Art and Connection
One of the most rewarding aspects of the exhibition was witnessing the way people connected with my paintings. "La Esencia de la Percepción" explores the idea that we often focus only on what is visible to the eye, while the true essence of our experiences lies within—our emotions, sensations, and the unseen aspects of human existence.
Many of my works are inspired by Leonardo da Vinci's anatomical drawings, blending classical precision with abstract expression. The contrast between structured forms and free-flowing abstraction serves as a metaphor for the duality of human perception—what we see versus what we feel.
Throughout the evening, guests shared their personal reflections, each bringing a unique perspective to the exhibition. Some spoke about the emotional depth they felt in the monochromatic pieces, while others were intrigued by the interplay of light, shadow, and form. These discussions are exactly what I hoped to inspire through my art—a moment of introspection and a deeper look beyond the surface.
